Iran attacks Hollywood over movie 'insults'

Not that you'd be expecting a subtle cultural debate from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, but the movie 300 is anti-Iranian? Sure, I guess in the way the Battle of Thermopylae was.

And the Wrestler? If anything, having the phony bad guy wrestler be called "The Ayatollah" is a parody of American culture and all the ridiculous stereotypes we used to have Hulk Hogan fighting against. The Iron Sheik and his "evil" Russian partner Nikolai Volkoff (pictured) of course coming to mind.

  1. Speaking as someone who lives in Hollywood, I wouldn't mind if a few enterprising producers took it upon themselves to make a couple of a "pro-Ahmadinejad" movies.

I know that sounds bad, but it makes me feel safer knowing that Kim Jong-Il likes our product (and is probably less likely to bomb us).

  2. That may be the dumbest comment I have ever read on a blog. You can not possibly be serious about making pro "Achmed Mad jihad" movies so he won't "bomb us". Wow, just wow.

And don't worry about Lil Kim either, his rockets won't even reach Japan.
